America the Beautiful 5oz

The America the Beautiful Quarters Program was launched in 2010 by the U.S. Mint, and is set to run through 2021. Over this 11 year span, the US Mint will issue a total of 56 quarters, one for each of the 50 states, 5 U.S. Territories and the District of Columbia. Each 5 oz, Quarter-Dollar coin will feature the classic George Washington obverse image. The reverse will be developed with an emblematic design of a national park and/or historical site in the designated host jurisdiction. Every year will feature the release of 5 new coins, each to be issued in the order of which the national sites were first established.
