NOTE: This description and image refer to the 2013 Gold Panda. The 2014 is coming soon.
The Chinese government has broken with its own tradition in coin design with the 2014 1 oz. Chinese Gold Panda. Whereas the Panda coins minted since 1983 have featured either one or two of the animals, the 2014 depicts three of the of them drinking contentedly at a pool on its reverse. The Panda’s obverse displays a rendition of one of Beijing’s classic historic buildings.
Like all Chinese Pandas, the 2014 1 oz. Chinese Gold Panda is struck from a full troy ounce of pure, .999 fine gold, and has a face value of 500 yuan. Since the People's Republic of China first introduced the Gold Panda in 1983, it has been a favorite of investors within the gold bullion community as well as with collectors.
We offer the 2014 1 oz. Chinese Gold Panda in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, shipped in Mint Capsules. We deliver in both Canada and the United States, and 1-ounce 2014 Chinese Gold Pandas are IRA eligible.
