The 49er Horseman Commemorative is even more spectacular when you hold it in your hand and you see its beauty in real life. Made from unparted Justh & Hunter Co. California Gold Rush Ingots recovered from the "Ship of Gold," the 49er Horseman is a one of a kind design fabricated after the original. Hand carved by master engraver Ron Landis using 150 year engraving techniques the 49er Horseman Commemorative is the closest thing to "original" without the $100,000.00 price tag. Struck by the Royal Canadian Mint and authorized by the California Historical Society, the 49er Horseman had a limited mintage of only 4,006 total coins, each being certified Gem-Proof condition by PCGS. Recent auctions have seen these coins sell for over $2,000 each.
