Nick founded Goldmart.com on the principles of transparency, expedient processing times, and having the best prices anywhere. Under these prinicples as President, Nick has seen the customer base grow exponentially. Nick studied for several years each at two of the top public Universities in the Unitied States, UC Berkeley and University of Virginia before graduating from Concordia University in Irvine, California in 2004. For several years after university, Nick was a professional basketball player—first with the Golden State Warriors’ NBA Summer League Team, and later with Spain’s Bàsquet Manresa, where he was on the team that won the LEB Gold Championship in 2007. After an injury forced his retirement from professional sports in 2007, Nick joined the Monex Deposit Company as an Account Representative and immediately was a top producer where he received a promotion and won several awards. After a short time at Monex, Nick left and started Legacy Precious Metals, Inc. (LPMI,) which specialized in wholesale and dealer-to-dealer sales of modern certified and classic rare coins. In 2011, Nick launched Goldmart.com focusing on the retail / consumer side of the industry and has recently upgraded and assembled a talented team of professionals who are contributing to taking Goldmart.com to the next level of service and customer value. Prior to joining the Goldmart team in 2013, Joe had already established himself as a successful, independent dealer in sports memorabilia and certified coins. He had been self-employed for more than six years when he enrolled at the ITT Technical Institute, and earned an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting and Computer Design in 2009. In 2008, while still in school, Joe launched his own company, specializing in sports memorabilia. After five profitable years, Joe shuttered his online store and in June 2013, joined the Goldmart.com team. As the Company’s Sales Manager, Joe utilizes the skills he developed as a successful entrepreneur to inform and educate Goldmart’s customers in the sometimes-confusing ways of buying and selling precious metals. In addition to his responsibilities as Sales Manager, Joe works on the trade floor, where his 15 years’ experience in the highly competitive world of sports memorabilia continues to allow Goldmart.com to maintain its low prices and reputation for quality products.
Curtis’s position as Operations Manager places him in charge of all components of our sales and operations. But his responsibilities go far beyond that: His considerable knowledge, skills, dedication, and experience have proven invaluable throughout the company. Although only with the company a short time, Curtis’s aptitude for project management over myriad departments, solutions development, analytic and communications skills, and a strong entrepreneurial streak were on display from the day he started. Curtis’s background includes 10 years as President and CEO of Responsible Energy Corporation as well as another six years as Executive Vice President (Sales and Operations) at Quantum Loyalty Systems, Inc., where his talents and energy helped them earn inclusion on INC 500’s list of the fastest growing private companies for two consecutive years. Curtis brings to Goldmart.com a far-reaching sense of organization and determination that will stand the company in good stead as it continues to grow to prominence within the precious metals industry.
As the Company’s Financial Controller, Robin’s job is to keep Goldmart’s financial gears turning smoothly, monitoring all monetary transactions, reviewing all accounts payable / receivable, and preparing both required and internal financial reports. Robin brings to Goldmart.com 35 years of diverse accounting and business experience, that includes managing the offices of a Los Angeles talent agency; as the Financial Controller for an accounting firm in Beverly Hills; and—most recently— private accounting management for an affluent San Francisco family. Each of these activities requires a measure of calm and level-headedness, insightful thinking, and exceptional attention to detail. And, it’s readily apparent that Robin possesses each of those attributes.
As the Company’s SEO Director, Jason's job is to create and implement strategic plans for the monitoring and development of Goldmart’s various web properties. Jason is an experienced Internet Marketing Professional with special expertise in many interrelated areas including reputation management, search engine optimization, information retrieval technology, online marketing strategies, web development, executive project management and search engine technology.
As Goldmart’s Logistics Coordinator, Mariana is responsible for all of the incoming and outgoing bullion products that the Company purchases and sells, as well as its online inventory. Her position is widely recognized as being among the most demanding of any in the e-commerce industry. Mariana received an Associates in Degree from Western Nevada College in 2010 and joined the Company in 2013 as an entry level Customer Service Representative, where her intelligence, self-discipline, and eagerness to learn played a part in her rapid advancement within the company. Prior to joining Goldmart, Mariana was a Safety Leader at Goodwill Industries, where her fluency in both Spanish and English was of great help in training all new employees. Mariana continues to do volunteer work at Western Nevada College’s Adult Language and Literacy Center. Mariana’s spirit, determination, and aptitude for the job play a major part in Goldmart’s day-to-day inventory operations.
As our Goldmart Customer Service Coordinator, Yonathan’s job is an immeasurably important one, because—for the majority of our customers—his is the only voice they will hear from Goldmart; their only live contact with the Company, and will—in most instances—form their opinion of Goldmart based solely upon their experience with him. Following his high school graduation in Elk Grove, California in 2004, Yonathan joined Apple Computer as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist in its warehouse. He worked there from 2005 – 2010. Following an additional eight years of increasing responsibility in Customer Service and in the protocols of Shipping and Receiving, Yonathan left that field and accepted a job as a Lot Porter at Mercedes-Benz of Sacramento. In just over one month, Yonathan was promoted to the level of Supervisor, where his superior Customer Service abilities quickly paid off as his team rose to the highest levels of Customer Satisfaction in the company’s history. Today, when Customer Service and Satisfaction can be easily measured and analyzed with the right software, and when a single instance of poor customer experience can (and most likely will) go viral, infecting any great number of a company’s customers and potential customers, Goldmart.com is extremely fortunate to have somebody like Yonathan on its team.
