Product Description:

Buy 100 g Perth Mint Gold Bars

Gold doré mined from the rich Outback of Western Australia is refined to a heightened purity of .9999 fineness and minted into 100 gram bars by the historic Perth Mint of Australia.  The 100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar is a popular asset providing investors an opportunity to buy physical gold bullion with very low premiums to store wealth, hedge against inflation, and mitigate risk and is easily converted back into fiat currencies.

100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar Facts

  • Stated in metric units and contains 100 grams of .9999 fine gold (Au) that is 99.99% pure.  The English System equivalent is 3.215 troy ounces (oz t) of 24 karat (kt) gold.

  • Sovereignly minted with its condition and its weight and purity guaranteed by the Government of Western Australia.

  • Securely sealed in a CertiCard® tamper-evident case that also serves as its assay certificate of authenticity.

  • Struck, stamped, or extruded in minted form instead of loafed or poured in cast form.

  • A unique bar number is assigned to each ingot for identification purposes.

  • The premium per ounce is cheaper for 100 gram gold bars than it is for sovereign coinage and smaller sized ingots fabricated by private and public mints.

  • The 100 gram Perth Mint Gold Bar is approved bullion for inclusion in Precious Metals IRAs.

100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar Design

The obverse of the 100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar is struck with the globally recognized LBMA registered mark identifying it as an authentic Australian Perth Mint investment product.  An Australian black swan symbolizing the state of Western Australia is stylistically rendered in gold and appears in the logo of the mint. The waterfowl gracefully curves its neck to its breast.  The plumage of its wings and tail fuse upwards creating an arcing bow. The name of the sovereign foundry, ‘THE PERTH MINT’, and the country of origin, ‘AUSTRALIA’, encircle the swan. Three inscriptions detailing the assay are listed: the purity, ‘99.99%’; the precious metal type, ‘PURE GOLD’; and the weight, ‘100 GRAM’.

The reverse of the 100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar is decorated with a troop of red kangaroo-shaped motifs bounding in diagonal formations across the Outback of the asset.  The red kangaroo is the national animal of Australia for which the large bar is nicknamed and was featured by Dr. Stuart Devlin on the 1989 Australian Gold Nugget Coin.

Perth Mint Assay Card Design

The Perth Mint securely seals the investment product in tamper-evident packaging to provide investors assurance of the authenticity of their 100 gram gold bar.  Should the assay card be pried open, the word ‘VOID’ appears around the edge of the blister nullifying Perth Mint’s guarantee.

A large black swan, the logo of the Perth Mint, appears like a watermark in the background of the front of the charcoal colored assay card.  A smaller gold swan is set in the foreground Three inscriptions are printed: the sovereign foundry name, ‘THE PERTH MINT’; the country where fabricated, ‘AUSTRALIA’; and the blister card name, ‘The Perth Mint tamper-evident case’.

The back of the CertiCard® is the sealed 100 gram Perth Mint Gold Bar’s assay certificate listing its precious metal content: the ‘Gold Content (Troy oz) 3.215’, the ‘Fineness (%purity) 99.99’, the ‘Minimum Gross Weight (g) 100’, the bar number, and the facsimile signature of the chief assayer.  Also printed are the name of, the logo of, the physical address of, and the website address of The Perth Mint.

About The Perth Mint

The Perth Mint was established in 1899 as the third branch mint of Britain’s Royal Mint  in Australia to provide excess refining and minting capabilities to the gold fields of Murchison, Coolgardie, and Kalgoorlie during the Great Australian Gold Rush of the 1890s.  The Perth Mint was originally purposed to locally refine gold and mint sovereigns and half-sovereigns in Western Australia. Now, for global investors, it also processes gold, silver, platinum and base metals into celebratory medals and commemoratives, blank planchets and coins, and blank plates and bars including the 100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar.

100 g Perth Mint Gold Bar Packaging

  • Multiples of 25 bars are individually packaged in tamper-evident assay cases in a sealed Perth Mint box.

  • Less than 25 bars are individually packaged in sealed tamper-evident assay cases.
